DON'T MISS THIS!
WERTHAN LOFTS 1ST ANNUAL YARD SALE
You may know Werthan - the old bag factory made famous by 'Driving Miss Daisy'. Daisy was, in fact, Daisy Werthan.
But what you may not know (if you've been hiding under a rock somewhere) is that Werthan has been inhabited for over four years now by some of Nashville's FIRST true loft dwellers.
Those loft dwellers have been quietly filling their spaces with some of the most fantastic art, furniture and stuff. And this weekend, they are going to clean house.
You may want to set aside some free time between 9AM and 2PM Saturday, May 10th for a quick trip to Germantown for this Yard Sale event.
I hear rumors of Jennifer Quigley art for sale, Ikea furnishings and home accessories, designer clothing, old Opry theater seats...and that's just from one loft. There are over 100 lofts in this building and many more are participating in the sale.
So grab some cash, borrow a pick up truck and make a day of it. You can even take a walk to Zackie's or Lazzarolli's for a quick snack and an energy boost, if you need it. If you're in need of some serious shopping therapy - some of the lofts are for sale, too. Happy shopping!
Werthan is located at 1400 Rosa L Parks Blvd (formerly 8th Avenue N), 37208. It's just past the Farmer's Market between Taylor and Hume Streets. Parking for the Yard Sale will be available at Hume Street. Access the event through the West Courtyard gates.
