The Heart & Soul of Werthan

You may remember back to the Third Annual Heart and Soul Party. That was in 2006 and it was the first year the event moved to Werthan Lofts. Here we are, two years later and this fundraiser for the American Heart Association is planning its 5th and biggest year ever!

HISTORY
Kate Bishop created the annual event because cardiovascular disease has become a very personal issue for her. It has touched her family and friends in dramatic ways from stents to stroke to open heart surgery.

EVENT DETAILS
This year’s benefit will be another fabulous evening of art, food, spirits and music, taking place at the Lofts at Werthan Mills on Saturday, January 24th from 7 - 11pm. Attendees experience six extraordinary lofts in the community. Sponsors host wine tastings, hors d’oerves and live entertainment. Past sponsors have included Lipman, Corrieri’s Formaggeria, Vinea, The Mad Platter, Blackstone Brewery, Dulce Desserts and many others.

A $40 donotaion per person gains entry to all lofts and to the Late Night VIP Party, where desserts and live band await in one of Nashville’s hippest lofts!

Team Green and Lightning 100 are teaming up as this year’s Event Sponsors. And it’s not too late for other Werthan residents or businesses to participate as sponsors or loft hosts!


Loft owners will be paired with sponsors and volunteers, who contribute food/drinks and staff the event. Additionally, this year’s Loft Tour Program features details about the homes on the tour and ads from local businesses.
